(Orlando, FL) - On September 29, 2017 Riptide Software announced that Learning Division Director, Nick Washburn, will be speaking at the Government Learning Technology Symposium (GLTS) in Washington D.C.

The symposium will cover government learning technologies and feature a variety of speakers who are experts in the space.

Nick Washburn will be speaking about “xAPI Case Study Insights and Implementations in the DoD.” The session will cover why xAPI is important to training and development in the government space and how to begin using it. Case studies will be discussed to show the valuable impact that utilizing xAPI can have on any type of organization and cover the four steps to an xAPI implementation: Design and Apply xAPI, Collect xAPI Data to an LRS, Report and Evaluate xAPI, Adapt to xAPI Data.

Nick noted that he’s “excited to speak about the Experience API and hopefully provide some insight into the amazing possibilities that this technology offers when it comes to large government entities.”
