I was asked to present at the first xAPI camp of 2016 on behalf of Elements team on the advantages of using a centralized Learning Record Store (LRS) within an enterprise learning ecosystem using xAPI. Whether you are new to the specification or have an xAPI enabled application, these camps are a great way to gain knowledge about the Experience API.

With more and more news articles surfacing of robots replacing humans in autonomous jobs, now, more than ever, it is important to spread the word of why STEM education is so important.
I was fortunate to attend this conference because Riptide Software sponsored part of OrlandoiX. With 20 years under its belt, Riptide Software is always looking for opportunities to expand, support, and help the Orlando tech community.
During the month of September, Riptide Software will be celebrating its 20th year in business. To commemorate our 20th anniversary, Riptide Software created a special 20th anniversary badge to serve as a testament to the hard work of Riptide Software employees.
xAPI Camp isn’t your typical summer camp full of sing-a-longs, campfires, and hiking trails; it is a one-day event that draws in leaders and vendors in the learning products and xAPI field. The next one-day event takes place on July 27th and is hosted by Amazon in Seattle, Washington. Which is a pretty big deal. This is the second time Riptide will be attending an xAPI Camp we are looking forward to seeing the familiar faces and meeting some new ones.
From a product development perspective there is great opportunity in the conversations and tone of this conference. This was my first time attending but it seemed like there is an awakening of a firm commitment to the force of higher online education and technology.
Today Riptide Software has a celebration of 17 years in business. Our wonderful company has evolved from a small software development start-up of just several employees into a leading provider of innovative software solutions with over 100 employees.
