Posted by Raquel Galan on November 6, 2014

Riptide Software, a leading provider of cloud and mobile development and enterprise integration services, is an Advanced Tier Consulting partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Recently, the firm hosted technical business leaders from Tampa at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers headquarters for an evening of networking and education over cloud computing with AWS. It was Riptide’s second major AWS awareness event and the first ever in Tampa.

Representatives from AWS joined Riptide and Level3 to inform company executives how AWS cloud solutions can benefit and enhance their businesses. “We’re very proud to have grown from a small team of software developers into a thriving, cutting-edge software solutions company,” said Riptide President and Chief Executive Officer Philip Loeffel. “We could never have achieved this level of success without our outstanding team of professionals, as well as the support of our clients, many of whom have been with us for more than a decade.”

Loeffel and Chief Technology Officer Barry Clinger founded Riptide in 1995, and the company has thrived, earning numerous awards and accolades over the years. Riptide has been recognized as Lockheed Martin’s Small Business of the Year, was named in Military Training Technology’s Top 100 Modeling and Simulation software companies for several years running, and has earned numerous distinctions for its cloud and mobile solutions.
