Riptide Software’s Robust DHCP Server using RaspberryPi 2 !

Posted by Raquel Galan on June 11, 2015

Riptide Software solved an issue a customer was having getting a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server to function in a particular way. The requirements: multiple IP ranges with limited communications between the ranges, variable network component lease times from an hour to possibly several days, and the need for the equipment to function in a less-than-ideal environment. Riptide provided a robust and cost effective solution for the project using a RaspberryPi 2 DHCP Server to handle a network of over 500 IP addresses with varying lease times.

You look down at your watch. It’s two hours before a crucial deadline in your project. What To Do With Your E-Waste

Riptide Software exercises environmental friendly procedures for all our computers, networking hardware, printers, and other devices that are at end of life.   These devices all have one major thing in common: eventually they will either break or become replaced. That fact leaves us with one major question, “What do we do with the old stuff?”

The launch of open source TryxAPI.com

Posted by Nick Washburn on April 21, 2015

Last month, Riptide Software participated in the most well attended xAPI event to date and it happened here in Orlando. Many vendors and service providers who’ve been working with the Experience API for a long time were invited by Aaron Silvers & Megan Bowe with their Connections Forum to speak at the first xAPI Camp. With so many excellent examples of how the Experience API is being used, and with a standing-room-only crowd at the UCF Campus, we were all pretty much blown away. All the vendors there had a chance to talk about our xAPI user stories and what other products were being used to solve customers' business problems. There was such interest and a diverse audience, it got me thinking about moving faster on something the Riptide Learning team planned to launch later this year. The time to help people with an easier path into using the Experience API is now.
